Welcome :) Looks like you're off to a good start.
ssbreef- I'm not familiar with starfish (other than the 8 zillion brittle stars in my refugium)- are the Linkia's super sensitive?

hi, i know it might have been a bit early but i got all the live rock secondhand and the 3 starfish came with the rock. my water tests are all fine though. and they seem to be ok. its defently moving around alot

Wow, you got the blue linckia star as a hitchhiker. Nice!

Its a good thing you didn't post this in reef discussion, they would have beat you up!!

The common feeling is they don't belong in tanks at all.
It is recommended to drip acclimate them for many, many hours.

No one knows what they eat, including me and I've had one for three years.

I have found mine to be pretty tough, but it lives in a well established 250 gallon with a ton of live rock.

It is said the first milestone is one month, and the next is 12-18 months. It takes them an incredible long time to starve to death.

Personally, I don't know what to believe because I've had good luck and I hope you do to. Please keep us updated on his progress.

And it is said that if they are exposed to air for even a second it can be fatal.

I dont have one but I think the 3rd pic is not a good sign?

Well mine has been exposed to air for a few seconds and it didn't prove to be fatal.

He looks ok to me. I wouldn't mind seeing some more shots.
As long as the guts aren't hanging out the bottom and the legs don't fall off I think they are ok.

I have an awesome shot of mine from a few months ago from the last time he went on the glass. For the life of me I can't find it though.

well it seems to be ok, its moving all around the rocks, i must be honest i dont know anything about them but i cant see what the problem is, i will post some more pictures later
