Feeding Frenzied
I thought I would share some pictures of some new arrivals I've received recently from liveaquaria.com (not all at the same time, of course) that I posted in my tank-build thread. Over the last couple of months, I have ordered and received 1 Red-Head Solon Fairy Wrasse, 1 Bristletooth Tomini Tang and 3 Bartlett's Anthias.
As is common with liveaquaria in my experience, the fish are beautiful and healthy. All were eating heartely within a day. They eat flakes/pellets, mysis, brine, chopped krill, chopped silvesides, you name it.
The tang arrived perfect, seemingly unphased from the long trip. He didn't even look stressed, it was amazing.
On the other hand, the wrasse arrived pretty badly stressed, but I understand that is common with fairy wrasses. As you can see though, he bounced back right away and is now in great health and getting fatter by the day. He's also a bit of a camera hog.
and together...
The Bartlett's Anthias all arrived great, but unfortunately I was sent 3 male anthias, which is obviously not a good thing in a 92 gallon. Here is a picture of one of the males. He is not as white as he seems in this picture, but he's not as pink as he should be either either, which I understand is because there are no females in the tank at the moment.
I informed Liveaquaria right away about the 3 males and they working with me to make it right. As always, liveaquaria's customer service is exceptional.
Thanks again guys.
