Pincushion Urchin + Mantis Shrimp = ?

Generally they do moderately well. Some mantises will ignore them, some will kill and eat them. They are probly the second best smasher cleaner next to serpent stars. I hear serpent stars tend to do better.

Well, I'm assuming that the the mantis will be well fed enough and have plenty of other things to mess around with. (IE hermits and snails)

Also, I'm getting a N. Wennera, so if he's small enough, he'll probably not want to mess with the larger urchin.

I had a pencil urchin in with my N. wennera with no issues. It was invited for dinner but never left.
