Pineapple coral has weird bubbles?

I have had this pineapple coral for about 3 years. Within the last month or so it has developed these "bubbles" of flesh. Its almost like its flesh has become disconnected from the skeleton. What could cause this and is it a reason to worry? There has been those two (big one on front, smaller one near back) that you can see in the picture, no changes though, they havent grown or shrunk or changed since they appeared.

Is it bleached or is that just the lighting? Though I'm not sure it would really make a difference either way. I have never seen that before.

My Octospawn has been doing that in several heads for the last month, if I'm not mistaken it means that the coral is starting to reproduce / splitting these heads.

The bubbles are caused by the coral expanding or creating new heads. Nothing to worry about. They are just growing

It is not bleached I just am horrible at photography. That is really good news that it is reproducing which makes sense actually.

I have been battling high nitrates for a long time. I finally got them under control about 2 months ago. ALL of my coral really started flourishing at this time. I guess this coral is liking the new conditions as well.

Thanks, for the link, was cool to see all those great examples, I have it bookmarked now.
