Pink birdnest growth?

I purchased a frag about 3 months ago. I still have no growth. I have a green birdnest that is growing crazy though. All my other frags are showing good growth also. My tank parameters are great, they get tested by a scientist every week at the university he teaches at. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to stimulate growth in this coral?

2- 250 watt 10k Ushios
112 watts 460nm actinic
130 watts 420nm actinic
120 gal main tank 100 gal sump
calcium 430
mg 1350
salinity 1.026
nitrates 7.0 ppm
phosphates 0
nitrites 0
amonia 0
alk 11

5200 gph. I have 1-2600 seio 2-1100 seio's and 400 gph coming in from the return. None of them are pointed directly at the corals.

no just leave it alone. some frags take a while to start growing but once that birdsnest does start it will take off.

*This is not a slam by any means*

I think most would consider a nitrate reading of 7 far from "great".

What are you using for filtration in the tank? I'm not saying that the 'trate is the issue, but there may be some things that could be optimized to get that number closer than zero.

I agree with the nitrates, but I doubt thats the problem. Like was noted above some corals just take a while to start growing. If your other corals are growing this one will to eventually.

I will note that my birds nest started growing almost immediately upon entering my tank. However, mine was from a Zeovit tank where it was doing awesome. My pink birds nest is probably the fastest grower in my tank....

I'm slowly bringing the Nitrates down. I know your probably going to laugh but I only have the mighty seacloan in the sump. But don't think it doesn't pull out the sludge. I pull out atleast a cup of dark goo each day. (I have a witness.) I'm working on purchasing a asm3 or 4 skimmer soon. I went with halides. a canopy, and the basement sump first. I also run carbon and a big ball of Cheato.
