Pink Birdsnest Problems

Hi there. I purchased a pink Birdsnest colony 9 days ago. I'm interested to know the best way to grow it in my tank with my lighting. I currently have it under Kessil A360. The light is about 8 inches off the water then the coral is another 8-10 inches below the water line. I currently have my Kessils ramp up to 45% intensity at the peak during the day. Over the last few days I've noticed more green colour at the tips of the Birdsnest and maybe not as much polop extension. Is this due to too much light from the Kessils?
I've grown LPS very well under these lights so I'm trying now to grow SPS but not sure what a good setting is for my Kessils.
My current water peramiters are:
Calcium 420
Alk 9
Ph 8
I'm not sure exactly what my Magnesium is at because I am not able to test it yet but I do regular weekly water changes with Red Sea Coral Pro salt.
Does anyone have any thoughts for me? Thanks.

When I switched to Red Sea coral pro from natural scripps seawater a lot of my sps either brown out, stopped growing, or stned. At the time everywhere I went people would say how great the coral pro salt is. The truth is unless u have a nutrient rich system and are trying to speed grow your frags I do t think that the elevated levels in coral pro make for a great coral coloring salt. I switched from the coral pro to the blue bucket Red Sea salt and it did wonders. If you are running a nutrient poor system, then u should get your ca, kh, and mag levels to nsw levels. The other thing I didn't like about coral pro was that if I let the bucket sit for a day circulating after it was done mixing it would develop a brownish orange sludge at the bottom. Also sometimes birdsnests have quirks .b I have a neon green birdsnest that hates direct light, and it grows like a weed in the shade, while my pink ponape birdsnest likes lots of light.

Thinking about the coral pro salt, I think it has a higher iron content because when I was using it a lot of my coral tips either turned green or the encrusting growth turned green.

Should I increase the light to the Birdsnest? You think it might not be enough light currently? My LFS told me it might be wanting more light that I'm giving it instead of less.
