pink gooey stuff on my torch coral's skeleton

Found it a couple of days ago. It seems to be attached pretty well, as I can't blast it off with a turkey baster. I tried picking it off with my long pair of tweezers, but it just seems to be a goo.... any ideas?

You can see it between the skeleton of the two heads. Sorry for the pic, I can only take pics with my phone.

It's a sponge, have the same one on my hammer. I haven't noticed any sort of irritation from it so imo, just some free filtration.
