Pink Haddoni

So I'm debating about adding a pink/ red haddoni to my collection.

I currently (as some of you know) have a beautiful blue gig.

The tank size might be on the small size its a 120 (4x2x2). But it is very open.

My fish have done an excellent job of avoiding the gig. But are the haddoni more of a fish eater?

Also what should I expect to pay for one. In addition are pinks more rare than red?

Thanks

The one thing I would suggest you look out for is bleached reds being passed off for pink. I for one have never seen a true pink haddoni, as all that I have seen inevitably have turned closer to a true red. If you were however able to track down a genuine pink, I would expect to pay more than your ordinary red.

I have seen one of these at my LFS. it was about 10 inches across. Nothing else in the tank. It has been there for a couple of months so I imagine it is not cheap.

So I had posted this as a LFS in my area got a big beautiful pink haddoni in. Two days later a local LFS got in a beautiful red and blue one. Absolutely gorgeous. The pink one was to big for my tank. 2 feet at least. This one is about the size of a small plate. However I love the colors on the one I got and it's healthy.

Enjoy here she is.
