Pink Margin in QT and in bad shape

I purchased a pink margin wrasse 4 days ago from the LFS. It was very timid at the shop but it had been in for 2 weeks, was swimming well, and eating. All of my current fish are in QT (have been since 4/9) to clear my tank completely of ich and have been in Hyposalinity since 4/11. It ate the first 2 days but seemed a little lethargic as I acclimated him. I left for the NextWave event in Dallas Friday morning and my girlfirend was keeping an eye on the fish. She let me know Saturday at noon that it was having problems staying upright and wasn't eating. She checked the temp, salinity, and ammonia and evereything is fine (glass heater, apex, and ammonia badge) I get home at 2AM and he is hardly breathing and not moving much at all. I put him in an isolation box and can now see that it looks as though he has some damage to his back fin. He was a little beaten up at the store but not like this.

Is this an infection or wounds from injury?

First of all, the longer the fish is at a LFS, the greater the probability of contracting a parasite. Does your fish store run copper in their tanks? Picture is not definitive, but could be velvet. Please read the stickies at the top of this forum.
