pink Margin wrasse

I have a pink margin wrasse on hold that has ich.

How reliable is a fresh water dip. What are the odds it will kill the ich and not carry it to the rest of the fish in my tank?

The odds are not in your favor. If you can set up a quarantine tank to hold it for six weeks, you would be better off.
