Pink Mille

I just got this pink Mille a few days ago. When i put it in my tank (90 gallon) it seemed hsppy with long hairs coming off of it. It was a nice pink color but over the past few days it has turned increasingly whitish. First pic is now and second pic was from a few days ago.

I'm running a 6 bulb ati dimmable powermodule

4 bulbs actinic-3 super blues and one Fiji purple
Runs from 0830-2115 hrs

2 bulbs giessamen
Runs from 1000-1930 hrs

Tested parameters and they were a little off

High mag around 1700
Calcium 480
Alk 8.1

Any suggestions? The coral is mid range in my tank and gets good flow. Only thing I have done different lately is I started vinegar dosing once per day at 15 ml

Move him lower

Yup, move it lower its bleaching out. Always start at the bottom and slowly move it up to its final place.

Is it possible that pink milli's are just fragile, and prone to such change?

I got a pink milli about 9 months ago that arrived pink and massively hairy. I placed it right by an erstwhile happy milli, only to watch it lose all PE and color too. Nine months later it's not hairy, but consistently fuzzy. And it started pinking-up a few months ago. All the while its milli neighbor has been hairy, colorful, and happy.

Maybe pink milli's just take a long time to settle in?

I moved the coral down, raised the light a bit and also turned the whites to a max ramp of 80 percent for now. I also re dipped it in coral rx to help it recover from the stress. Anything else or should that about cover it for now?
