Hi.
I have a pink millepora that is loosing its color. The growth of the coral is very good and its polyps are out day and night. My other corals have very nice colors...
My main light is ATI 8*54 watt.Circulation mp40 and mp 10+ 2700l/h from the sump.I use Balling.

Mag 1385
Calcium 435.
The millepora is in the middle of my tank.
Nitrate and phosban:0,00.
Any suggestions..?

Losing color is generally a sign of either bleaching from stress or a lack of nutrients. Really the only thing you can do is keep everything stable the way it should be and cross your fingers. If you in fact have a low nutrient problem, consider feeding a little bit more to your fish who will in turn feed your corals.

Hi.
No,I have had it for 2 months.Alle measurements are ok,and has been that since I started with Balling 4 months ago
I Feed my fish 2-3 times a day.I have 2 Yellow tang,2,Flame angels,1 powder blue,1 blue tang,1 Clown and 1 Goby.
My system is a ELOS 120XL.App 133 gallons.I change app 16 gallon each week. One week synthetic and one week nsw and so on.
All my other corals has a very nice colour.
But could it be possible that my system are to low nutrient?
I feed my corals each day with Reef Star Coral Energy and KZ Coral Vitalizer.

Hi.
I am quite sure that aefw is not the problem.Every coral in my tank has been dipped in Fauna Marin Pest control at least two times before I place them in my tank. And I have never found any bugs what so ever.
But can some corals get darker tissue when adding to much aminoacid?
I add 4 drops everyday with KZ AAC.I took a close look at the milli yesterday. The red/pink color is still there, but have darkened a lot.The polyps has turned brown. On the other hand, two of my blue milleporas are ossom regarding their deep blue color and blue polyps
As mentioned eariler,it has an xtreme polyp expansion and the growth of it is very good.Could to much amino be the answer??
