pink milli

I got this pink milli a few months ago from another local. It sits "high up in my tank" under 250 watt 14K MH bulb. I notice over the past few weeks some of the tips are turning white. Are the tips normal and is just new growth or do they look like something I should worry about? Some local suggests is it bleaching. What do you all think?

new growth. if it were bleaching, it'd probably at the higher points of the coral, not on the bottom portion.

keep you eye on the growth edge on the bottom of the coral at the base where it attaches to the plug. it should be growing or just stay stable. that's a pretty good indicator of overall sps health imo.

Yep, like everyone said, good growth. Here's a pic of a frag I made of my pink mille. The mother colony is in the lower left of the picture.

I would watch it carefully...seems like new growth, but also seems too white...maybe not though....always tough to tell from photos - the rest of the coral looks great!

If it is new growth , how long does it take to turn "pink" like the rest of the coral? I am assuming the tips wont "stay" white.
