In QT for two days, eating well so far and looking better.
I would like to start treatment for the ich. I am weighing the option between coppersafe and hypo. Leaning towards hypo because it seems to be easier to deal with. Also I have used prime in the qt and I hear that you cannot mix prime with copper meds.
I heard that there are certain types of clowns that don't tolerate hypo well. What about pinks?
Also, there is an inch or so of sand in the bottom of the qt along with a handful of small rocks (maybe 1-2 lbs). This tank was setup with rock and sand taken from my established system, two weeks ago, to be a nano. It has now taken on the qt role for these clowns.
Three questions:
1) Is it true that I cannot use copper meds now that I have used prime?
2) Can pink skunks tolerate hypo?
3)Is it imperative that I remove the small amount of rock and sand from the qt tank in order to do hypo treatment?
Thanks for any advise you may have for me!
