Pink spotted goby

I just watched my pink spotted goby eat a nassarius snail.. is this possible?! i dont want him to eat all my nassarius snails........

Ive seen some funky behavior from the pink spot but I cant say ive seen that.

he ate it?? I would be more worried about that hurting him than losing the snalis

mine carries snails and rocks around all over the place...never seen him eat them.

he tried to bite my chevrons lips off once....

wow! they are aggressive.. mine is quite aggressive if anyone gets near him..especially my purple tang but he doesnt attack him. Maybe he didnt eat the snail.. it looked like he did but ive seen him pick them up and carry them into his cave and spit them out again. I hope hes not eating them..

sorry to spam your thread with pics....but he is the funniest fish ever

He charges my tangs all the time and bites them regularly. they just look at him like hes nuts and more or less ignore him even though he leaves marks.....

I keep talking about this fish like i still have him I had to give him away a couple weeks ago. I built a new bb tank and even though he will eat anything and everything, once in the new tank he just sat depressed in one spot against the wall and wouldnt eat a thing. He started to look thin so instead of turturing him any more and possibly hurting him I gave him away to someone who could keep him happy.......with sand

Your goby looks just like mine! he does the exact same thing to my Purple tang.. but he does not attack him. How come you decided to go BB? i bet you miss the guy a lot. I love watching him..i love all gobies actually they all have a great personality.. id love to get a twin spot goby or 2 but not sure how they would do in my tank and what they eat?
