Pink tail question

Has anyone had any sucess with keeping a pink tail trigger in a mixed reef. Im not that worried about the coral as I am with my shrimp and cleaning crew. I have 2 cleaners 1 fire and 2 peppermints. I know there is always a chance a trigger will go after them, but if the risk is low enough i will take the chance.

I had him in a mix reef with inverts no problem, he became a bully so I had to let him go, all other fish will starve the way he ate everything I threw in the tank, nice colors though. Good luck with him

They should be fine in the reef, it is one of my favorite fish. I had a deep sand bed with all kinds of critters and he left them alone. Every fish is obviously different but you should be okay

Had one in my reef - traded him out for a pair of blue jaw triggers - he never bothered the corals, but he would pick off the snails and was a bully to the other fish
