Pinkish macro off the coast.

I was in Little Corona today and noticed a ton of this pinkish plant presumably type of macro covering many of the rocks. Any idea on the I.D. or care needs?

Think I could bring it up in temp 20 degrees. It's really pretty. Sorry no pics.

well there are a couple red/pink macros out there that i've seen. if its the bigger one i'm thinking of, its called Gelidium pulchrum. if its the smaller stuff its called Chondrus crispus. just search them to find pics to find out for sure. my friend has kept stuff from there, not macros though, with success at higher temps, so i'm sure its quite doable. hth
