I was looking into getting this, but can't find anywhere if you can set a temperature range with an alarm if it goes outside that range. I have 4 different tanks that I would definitely like the flexibility of monitoring from one unit, but I want something with an alarm in case it falls out of a certain set of parameters when I'm not doing my daily tank checks.
I currently use the lifegard big temp alert on one of my tanks and it has already saved my butt (heater stuck on over night and the alarm woke us up). So, I'd like to get something for the other tanks, but hate the idea of dropping around $30 for one each of the remaining tanks. I'd eventually like to get a aquacontroller (wouldn't we all) but they are a bit out of my price range right now.
