i think that pipefish are way cooler than seahorses and have decided to get one but have a few questions:

whats an easy pipefish for beginner pipefish owners?

can i put a pipefish with one of my current tanks? im thinking about my 14 gallon lps tank?

and if i can will the clowns that live in that tank bully him?

also what do they eat?

plz reply!!!!

An easy pipefish is one which is eating frozen on a regular basis. Even so, it might still prove a challenge to you.

No, the LPS could easily capture, kill and eat almost any species of pipefish. And the ones that might be able to live with most lps would get too large for your tank.

No. Clownfish are damselfish. Extremely territorial, and in a tank that size, territoriality can prove deadly to many fish which can't hold their own. Many clown onwers argue that their clowns are peaceful and docile, but that is simply because they have yet to reach sexual maturity, and actual docile ones are few and far between. I personally would never keep a clown with anything else in a nano tank.

They eat a variety of small foods. Many need a mix of live foods such as copepods and enriched brine shrimp. Some will take frozen foods, cyclopeeze, small mysis, frozen brine shrimp.

I'd recommend doing a little bit more research and googling before going out and buying a syngnathid.
