pipefish in DT?

much success in keeping these guys in a fowlr or reef? I've always kept in a seperate tank.

It kind of depends on the pipefish, and what all you have in a reef. I would think an fowlr wouldn't be very good because you're not going to have the microfauna. But then again, I've never tried it.

Reefs are okay as long as the tankmates aren't too aggressive and there aren't stinging corals or anemones. Flagtail pipefish (bluestripe, bandeds, janss) seem to do best imho, but I know a lot of people try dragonface pipes as well.
