Pipefish questions

I am going to start a 30gallon tank this summer. I was wondering If pipefish can be kept with lps and softies. I read somewhere to not keep them with corals or anenomes that sting.

Question 1: What corals would be considered "incompatible" with pipefish?

Question 2: If my tank was 24" deep 24" long and 12"high, would that be a problem with the height, I know with seahorses you shouldn't, but pipefish would be fine right?

Question 3: Will pipefish bother larger shrimp such as cleaners? Would the larger shrimp be a problem for the pipefish?

Question 4: Can anyone share some helpful tips in designing my tank, or care for pipefish?

Seahorses and pipefish should have the same compatibility requirements w/ corals and tankmates. There is a really comprehensive list of tankmates here: http://www.seahorse.org/library/articles/tankmates.shtml. Depending on the species you chose will depend on how you design your tank. build some overhangs and they'll like to hang out there
