pistol shrimp question

When the burrow entrance of the pistol shrimp and randall goby collapses, will they dig themselves back out?

I would say so. My Watchman Gobie is like a little bulldozer.
If something displeases him he buries it! So I figure the same would go to dig him and his friend out.

At times, they will close it off themselves. When I had a pseudochromis in there, they closed it off often.

The Purple Firefish that I got recently, just evicted my Sleeper Goby from his burrowed den. Now, he's had to find / make a different home. Not a problem in the "shifting sand".
