I have a pistol shrimp in my 55 that magically got in probably from some live rock, I would like to get him out and put him in my 10 gal nano. Any tips to capturing a pistol shrimp?

Get a turkey baster or a big syringe, and a bottle of wine. Wait for evening n start looking into tank sipping wine. when u see him around one of the smaller rocks startle him to hide. Grab rock n take it out.

He is either crawling under it or innside if innside cet some sparkle water n use the baster/syringe he should be comming out like a bat outta hell n thar ye go you have catched a pistolero
