Place to get glass baffles?

Where's a good place to get glass cut (for baffles)? I finally realized it would probably be much easier to make a sump/fuge out of a glass tank (rather than acrylic), so I'm trying to find out where I can get baffles made.

look in your yellow pages and call your local glass shops for prices. then just go to the one with the best price for your dimensions.
also ask them to polish the edges after they cut the glass so they aren't so sharp.

Do places like Home Depot and OSH cut glass?

Edit: called OSH and it looks like they do - hopefully it's not expensive!

The glass at OSH is pretty thin. It's better to go to the glass store and ask them to cut it for you. Cost about $5 piece.

I agree with Kevin, check your LOCAL yellow pages for a glass place. I'm sure there is one closer to you than San Jose!

Glass shops are pretty cool, you can get glass table tops and stuff there...it would be fun to go to a local shop and just look around. Heck, maybe the'll make a whole sump for you!

just make sure they double and triple check your measurements and what not.

i have to redrill my new tank because the glass shop i went to put the hole in the wrong spot

Well, actually, if your sump is easily portable, why not bring it into the shop and tell them exactly what you want? Then they can measure and cut the glass themselves. Hopefully, if they make a baffle that doesn't fit, they;d just cut a new piece to put in...but if you just come in with dimensions (but no tank), they'll cut it and if it doesn't fit, you're stuck with it.
