Placement of live rock

How close to the acrylic should I go? I just set this up and some of the rock is leaning against the right side wall. Will this be a problem for cleaning algae off the side wall later?

So... This configuration actually makes the whole right side difficult for cleaning I guess. I needed to lean against the wall for stability and to get the height I wanted with the rocks I have. But this sounds like I need to re-configure. Also, the problem with using a magnet on the right side is that I have an exterior drain/return on the right side wall. So unless I can get some kind of algae eater that will keep the right side wall clean, I guess I should reconfigure... Maybe someone has a miracle solution!!! :-)

apoxie fix it. Will set up under water. Used by the GA aquarium, and will hold rock in just about any shape or form you can think of. Also costs WAY less than a lot of other brands out there. Mainly because it's not just marketed for aquariums but for a 101 things and then some. I pay about 32.00 for 4 lbs and have used it to glue over a hundred pounds of rock into various forms that would have other wise been impossible.

There is an out of water version too, called apoxie sculpt. You can use it if you want to work with dry rock and then after it cures put it into the aquarium. It's also marine safe and used by commercial aquariums.

Great! Thanks! Googling apoxie now...

It's hard to tell from the picture, but if you plan to view the tank from the side the rock is leaning, leave enough space for your favorite glass cleaner to get by. Otherwise, you'll quickly regret it. You can also use pvc, zip ties, and a bunch of other methods to support the structure you're looking to achieve.
