I'm thinking this is the correct forum. I just bought some totally unresearched corals at a frag swap. I know, I'm a bad, bad reefer :D . Anyways, any suggestions on lighting requirements and proper ID's would be great. I think my ID's are correct, but...

The blue coral and the purple/green one....

And a chalice?

The birdsnest likes high light and high flow. The armor of god paly likes any kind of lighting but med to high flow like most zoas. The rest like med to low flow and will do good in med to high light.

I've got the birdsnest and AOG taken care of, but the others...

Hmm, really, all med to high light? I was hoping for a little low light action...

I have a green & red psammocora which I keep on the bottom under a 400 20K w/medium to high flow.... seems happy. I also tend to keep my chalices on the bottom as well, w/light to medium flow.
I keep my platygyra about midway under a 250 20k w/medium flow.

OK, thanks for the info! Now, to get my arm down that low in my 31" tall tank....

I feel your pain my is 30", make sure you pull up your sleeve all the way & have the perfect place for them so you only have to do it once:)
