Placing circulation pumps

I have 4 mj modded on a wavemaker that I'm gonna be using on my new 100g. I was thinking in placing them like this:
left side- up in the front corner and down in the back corner
right side- down in the front corner and up in the back corner

What do you guys think? I'm asking because all the tank I see the have all the pump towards the top.

You'll have to play and see what happens with your sand. (unless you don't plan on having any)
