Placing new clam?

I bought a 2" Maxima (I think that's what it's), and I want to
put it on my LR, but it would be next to my Torch coral. Is it okay
if the clam is close to the Torch?

yes its a maxima, and a real nice one too



i would try to keep it away from anything that could sting or bother him. I'm not sure if a torch can sting clams but it will definitely sting other corals so i would be very cautious.

I have a torch that touches one of my clams and the clam does not seem to mind. Its been doing the for about 6 months and I do not see any harm.

BTW...that is a nice looking clam. Make sure you feed it until it gets a little bigger.

I feed once a day with DT's Phyto. Is that enough?
