I am ordering some frag plugs from... The Filter Guys

If anyone would like to go in on the order, please let me know. I am going to place the order on Friday. I checked and the website said that they have limited supplies. I will call to see how many they have on hand.

I have tried several frag plugs recently and so far these are the best. They also happen to be the most reasonable in price. NO CURING NEEDED!!!

Please let me know ASAP if you want to order,

Andrea

Dennis,
get them here....bostonaquaframs dot com

Great guy! PLUGS are the best ive found and you get 100 for $26, even better than the filter guys! IMO of course.

i need some too, as im going to make a 200 plug order, SOON!

The Boston frag plugs have to be cured. I need to put 50 - 100 in my tank at one time. He did not recommmend placing this many in at one time. The ceramic ones don't need to be cured.

No biggie.

I put 50+ in my sump every time i get an order in.......they are only arganite anyway. I've never had any issues with that many at a time.
Besides his current style plugs dont BREAK!!

Okay, I totally forgot about placing this order on Friday. Is there anyone else interested in ordering these?

I spoke to him this morning. The difference between the frag plugs and disks are...

plugs are under 1"

disks are around 1 5/8"

He did say that the leg on these are pretty easy to shear off.

Not downing any of the other products out there right now but...

In our trip to Madison, we had three different types of frag plugs.

Coral cradle
filter guys frag plug
DIY plug.

We had all of the plugs on a sheet of egg crate. The only one that never moved, shifted or fell off during the trip was the filter guy frag plugs. The coral cradles are kind of cool, but they take up ALOT of room and some of them fell off. Plus, they are not forgiving when you are trying to permanently place them in your tank. The DIY totally failed. Now again, this was during traveling. The DIY would be fine if you are not trying to get them to a frag swap in one piece. LOL

I am going to place the order, some time this afternoon. If you are interested, please let me know ASAP!

Thanks,
Andrea

The Filter Guys plugs are top notch. I got an order in last week of the regular ceramic plugs, and the larger ceramic disks. I love them.

Also if there is something else from his website that you would like to order, please let me know. We can include it with this order.

Yep!! So far they have my vote!

D + A,

Are the Filter guys cutting you a better price for a group order? I need to order some cartridge changes and liked the ceramics I bought from them before.

Thanks
Chris

unfortunately, no. There is already such a small margin. Now you can contact him to see if he will give a discount on your cartridges.

That's ok, I live so far south that it will probably be easiest to have them shipped direct to me.

Thanks for the thought.

In box cleaned, sorry. Justin and Kimoy, I have you down. I left them a message in regards to payment. I will let you know as soon as I hear.
