Planing a new nps tank

With the top of the tank is there glass bracing around it, often referred as euro braced, plastic framing around the top and bottom referred to as framed, or is the top cut and polished like elos type aquariums (rimless)?

the backgroundpannels are a kind of portlandcement with argonitesand...

for skimmer i choose now the ati bubblemaster 200 not the powercone because it is 150$ cheaper... if the power from the bm200 not enouqh i will buy the cone. but first i have 150$ for corals

from my experience the flow to laminate can be a benefit for certain species of NP's, but, if you are going to consider others, I suggest you to be intermittent.

on having seen some of the images, I remembered myself of the projects of these two big friends:

i plan to change the flowdirection every 6hours, did you mean that with intermittend

it is probable that the skimmer you is insufficient. a speculation is alone without foundation.
(ist wahrscheinlich, dass der Abschäumer nicht ausreichen werden. ist nur eine haltlose Spekulation)

The aquascape in that first tank is fantastic!

both projects, as well as mine (believes), that they are designed for NP's and LPS and soft corals, with big spaces and a big strategy to accommodate them.
