Plankton Friendly

Right now I have a CPR bakpak type of skimmer on my 20gallon, it works well but I see so many shrimp and coepods end up in the cup it bothers me.

Reading about the Tunze line there seems to be less impact on these little guys.

My question is with this 20gallon and it's 10gallon sump with two fish, corals etc, what kind of skimmer should I go for? I could set up my Euro-reef but I have a feeling it would be over kill.

Any suggestions or shared experiences are welcomed

A 3110/2 should be just fine for this size tank and will perform at least as well as the CPR in my experience. It does use the closed loop plankton friendly system of the bigger skimmers we make so it should greatly reduce the problem you have.
