I haven't posted here in a while...I've been busy trying to apply all the great guidance I have recieved from this forum!

It looks like this forum also has alot of new activity...for a while it was pretty dead in here.

Anyway, onto the pics...

Thanks for the compliments! First and last pic are hand-held, ISO-800, SS - 1/100, f-4. No flash, on a 5DMK2, with a 100mm 2.8.

The sexond pic is on a tripod w/ a remote trigger. Same camera and lens, but with a full set of extention tubes. ISO 100, f-32, SS - 25s. I also used a 6 stop ND filter.

They are all cropped.

Wow! And you were still able to achieve 1/25s, ss with all that? Any suplimental lighting? Standing ovation on these images!!

Thanks dude...and, to look at it with the naked eye, it doesnt even hint at holding that kind of color. That's what I love about Macro photography...it reveals so ,much more.
