Plastic Needle Valve

Hello All -

Anyone know where I can buy a plastic needle valve locally or has one that they are willing to sell. I am having a very difficult time trying controlling the output on my calcium reactor. I figured I would try using a plastic needle valve. It has to be able to fit the 1/4 rigid plastic tubing commonly used for icemaker.

I know I can order it from United States Plastic for $10, but shipping is almost as much.

Minh,

I can check my fitting box at work and see if I have one. How about a inline stopcock valve I have that. Or a IV clamp would work.

The thing I dont like about neddle valves is that if you close them off to tight, when opening back up the neddle can be pulled out of the shaft and it stays in the closed position.

We used them in medical imaging to control replinishment of x-ray
developer/fixer.Now we use bellows pumps to control the replinishment.
