Plate Coral Buried

Hello,

New to RC, hope I'm posting in the right spot. :)

I found my plate coral burried under my live sand thanks to my sand-sifting gobies. I am guessing that it was down there for about two days, maybe three. It is still purple around the edges but is white in the center. Does this mean that it is dead? Is there anything, besides keeping the gobies away that can help it out? I guess I will see tonight if it's tenacles come out.

Hi -- your first post on RC! Wow -- a buried plate. Can you post a picture? My inclination would be to slowly acclimate to light again -- can you put it in the shade? Someone else may have a better suggestion. BTW -- this is the right place to post your question.

Re: pictures???

I took a picture of it and tried to post it in gallery and it said the file size of picture was too big? How can I change this?

First thing you have to do is resize your picture ,download pixresizer,it has to be no larger than 600. The plate should come back i buried mine with my tunzes ,It was ok just bring it back to the light slow.
