Plate coral morning breath? Anyone seen this?

The last couple mornings before I turn on the lights my plate has had its mouth open in a complete circle, it looks like what you imagine a volcano to look like.
It still puffs up during the day & eats when I remember to feed it, not very often do I feed it though.
Anyone seen this before?

My candy canes do that every morning I think it's just a triggered response as they normally feed at night time out in the wild, I guess the same concept would apply to your plate coral, btw gorgeous plate coral been looking to get one but haven't found a good one yet where did you get yours?
