Plate coral on BB?

Has anyone ever tried keeping a plate coral in a bare bottom tank? Mine is glass bottomed, would a plate coral be able to stay in place or would it get blown around (flow is moderate)?

I have plates on the bare glass in my display, and my flow is pretty high! 11,000+GPH total in a 220G....no troubles with the plates

My plate is on BB and there is no problem.
