I already have a wild caught perc. clown that is getting more and more black like onyx.
I have attached a pic of the clown. The fins and tail were all black when he was younger, however, recently the fins and tail started to turn orange. Why is this happening????

does it host in a bta? then thet is the problem. bta's will take the black from onyx or darker clowns. i put my tricinctus in a bta for this reason, so they stay their nice yellow and light tan shades and not get dark brownish.
I would recommend getting a small platinum if your clown is wild, 2+ inches, and living by itself for awhile... Most likely it could be a female already. U got pmd
