Platinum w/ Gill Issues??

Hey guys,
I have had this one platinum clown for over a year now, he has always had rapid gill movement/breathing....3+ per second.
Recently I acquired another one from a local hobbyist....when I went to pick it up I noticed it had the same issue.

Does anyone else see this issue?? Does it have something to do with the amount of white around the gills?

I heard when clownfish's gills are moving like that, it's due to something in the water irritating their gills.

its happened to me
my platinum clownfish has always had rapid gill movement/breathing
whats the matter with it ?
