playing around with stocking plans

Hello, I'm probably still months away from setting up a tank, but i've researched my arse off for the last 2.5 months straight. i'm talking hours and hours a day online and at borders books =P.

anyway, i've been making a stock list of fish and CUC for fun and to see what can be compatible. Just would like other's thoughts and opinions...

Tank will be a 75 gal (48"x18"x20") with a 20-30 gal fuge, softies and LPS with a 2-3" LS bed and approx. 80 lbs LR

for fish i am thinking:

(all added slowly/one at a time over months)

2 false percs juveniles (is it ok/will they host a green BTA if added months later?)
1 royal gramma
1 shrimp goby and shrimp (haven't decided which goby shrimp pair yet)
1 green mandarinfish (of coarse when system is fully matured with pods)
1 yellow tial damselfish (making sure to not get the blue devil as it can look similar)
1 kole tang

i would also like one other tang unless it's ill advised for a 75. the wife really likes yellow tangs and i said i'd ask opinions.

for the CUC was thinking:

2 skunk cleaner shrimp
1 or 2 turbo snails
about 10 trochus snails
about 10 nassarius snails
about 10 cerith snails

maybe some red legged hermits but i hear opposing view on whether or not to have hermits

any and all opinions/criticism are welcome and thanks =)
:D  :p

I would avoid adding the damsel, especially if you want to keep the gramma. In my first SW tank my damsel didn't actually kill a gramma, but it bullied it so much that it hid in the rockwork constantly and starved to death.

And, yes, the clowns will likely host in the anemone even if you add it later.

Good luck and it's great to see you researching your stock list ahead of time.

which damsel was it? the yellowtail blue is supposedly one of the more docile damsels and also one of the smallest. of coarse i have no experience with any of them =P

thanks for the input.

any others? does the snail count look good? what about hermits?

I would substitute a green or blue chromis for the damsel if you want a fish from that family, as they are much less aggressive.

Either the Kole tang or the Yellow Tang would be good for a 75 gallon, but not both.

I don't have any hermit crabs in my current tanks, but when I started I had them and they were fun to watch. But just now thinking about it, I may put a few in my FOWLR.
