Playing around

You should never bracket aperture unless you are testing DOF just to see the real world differance. Using the 100% crop, you can see need for further improvement. I think you are off to a fine start myself though.
Somehow this turned into a curious adventure and more of a DOF test for me to see the diff. Plus I just wanted to see the images in a series to see how gradual the dof changed. I've already mastered the dof in "A" mode so this was a little interesting to me, that's why I bracketed this way... I figure if I take enough images I'll get the hang of it.

Decided to take some macro and now I need to upload them..

Titus, really appreciate you advice, thanks again.. Jim

Ahhhh I see, carry on. I thought you may have been bracketing for exposure. If you were bracketing to see the change in DOF (as I stated above) then that makes a lot of sense. Its also fun to see the changes. =) One suggestion I would like to make is that instead of only bracketing the Aperture, simultaneously bracket the ISO the opposite way. This will keep the amount of light in the image constant while changing the DOF.

You can also combine the images together into a .GIF, so that they play like a movie. You can REALLY see the difference in DOF then, but you will want a consistent amount of light on your subjects.
