Playing with some new photo software with my SLR.

That is the software I use Photomatix Pro 2.4, at least the software on that link and tutorial is Photomatix Pro 2.x

this is my first attempt--just a quick job to see how it works....kinda cool, but I think you'd have to be pretty good to make it stand out from just a really good photograph....

This shot is three bracketed shots, ran thru the batch processor of Photomatix Pro 2.4, It brings out amazing detail, while still allowing you to let high contrast areas remain bright.

Great photos. I just learned of this site from Jack Starmer, and as a long-time lover of photography, this thread caught my eye right away. I love the high dynamic range images!! Beautiful. A friend of a friend is really into HDR photography, and you might enjoy picking up some tips & tricks (albeit topside photography) at his site - just select the HDR links on the right.
