I could have cleaned the glass a bit better on the last one

I've got an Xsi. Are you just using the kit lens?

Yes, kit lens and no flash. It was a hand me down, did yours come with the stabilized lens? This one has it.

Yes, I got the stabilized lens with mine. I can't ever seem to get the fluorescent look like you have in your second picture. I never use the flash for tank pics either.

Second pic was under actinics only and it looks way more blue in person.
