I have a few parts have collected through various trades and am looking to put them to good use.
Items I have are:
(1) complete DAS H99 glue in filter. For those of you who don't know The DAS filters incorporate a 5" extruded tube with a riser neck and twist lock flanges to remove the collection cup. The also use a"Deltec like" needle wheel pump for the skimmer.
(1) Complete DAS H99 conversion filter to hang on an existing tank. Again, this setup has the Deltec like needle wheel pump and a 5" round tube as the reactoin chamber.
(1) Pretty beat up DAS EX-3 skimmer with 2 Deltec like external needle wheel pumps. The body is 8" extruded acrylic and the bottom end has been repaired many time due to leaks. I believe the 8" tube is a lose. The top twist losk flange is in tact along with the collection cup.
I was thinking of making some sort of acrylic box to attach the pumps to and the glueing the extruded tubs to them. I just want some input as to the best way to use these parts.
I have a 90 gallon tank that I am setting up right now so instead of buying a new skimmer I thought I would see if folks could help me use what I have.
I don't mind external skimmers but the way the EX-3 broke and leaked I think I would prefer to go in-sump. I will entertain any ideas though as long as it is within my means to accomplish.
This is a picture of the two external needle wheel pumps. The other two needle wheel pumps look the same but don't have the PVC connections.
Thanks for looking.
