Please Check My Plumbing Before I Glue

Hey all... Just finished up cutting and joining the plumbing for my 150 tall. If you could take a look and give me any feedback or suggestions, I would appreciate it.

After that, time for the glue! A couple of notes; the zip ties are temporary, just to keep things in place while I was lining everything up. There will be more unions, just ran out at the moment, and HD is closed for the night. lol

It's my first time doing actual plumbing for a tank, so I need some more eyes. Thanks in advance!

Looks good to me! What size return pump are you running? Wouldn't be a bad idea to run a line off your return with a gate valve so that you can have the capability to run a reactor in the future if you want. Setting up my tank next month and I am going to run a sterilizer as well. I am going to design so that I can bypass the uv if need be. I can send you the scetch of my setup if you would like to take a look at how I am going to plumb mine. Send me a pm with your # and I can text you my ideas. Happy Reefing!

Hey Jon, thanks for the quick reply! Yep, that's what I did with mine too... That's what the two tru-union ball valves are, with the pipe that doubles back and joins the return before it splits; so I that can isolate the sterilizer. That's a good idea about the reactor, might add that in somewhere. Although I already bought a reactor from BRS, along with a separate Sicce pump to run it. My return pump is a Jebao DCT12000, which is supposedly rated up to 3100 gph. I don't believe it, lol, but that's overkill anyway. With the incremental adjustments, I'd like to set to about 1000 gph. Think that's good? And I'll pm you my number.
