I have the opportunity to purchase a rather large specimen, Briareum asbestinum, to fill in the right side of my reef. Is this species of encrusting gorgonian toxic to my SPS? It would be placed on its own rock in the sand bed between two colonies of LPS. I am doing this so it doesn't spread to the rock structure of the main reef display.
