Please expain how to feed NORI

I have had carnivorous fish but now I have a herbivore/detrivore.

I went out and bought a bunch of nori at the asian market. How do I feed it?

Do I rip it into little bite size peices? The peices tend to float. Do I stick the whole sheet onto an algae holder and hope the fish recognize it? If he does not touch it right, do I remove it from the tank so it wont pollute the water? Or is it ok to keep it in the water for the whole day and just remove the rest at the end of the day?

It seems simple enough so am I over thinking this?

Either attach it to a food clip or elastic band it around a rock to hold it down. You should remove any uneaten amount after a few hours.

I put a couple sheets of nori on a piece of live rock strapped by rubber bands, place it in the tank and the fish will rip pieces off at their leisure
