please explain ro/di systems

ok...i need a ro/di system...but i have no clue how these things work...do i hook it up to the faucet when i want water? do i hook it up under the sink and put a pail under there with it to collect the water?

my tank is on the opposite wall that my washer is on...can i somehow hook up to that water line and run it through the wall inside the tank stand to a pail or something?

im sorry, i have no clue how these things work and what kind of setup i need to do...

really, i dont even know enough about these to know what questions to ask...

whats the best way to make this work? please help...

I would think the most convenient thing is a dedicated supply to the RO/DI unit if you can do it.

I got my RO/DI here and I am overjoyed with the quality for the price. I had my water tested by a friend who does water testing for government systems and he said it was great, far better than what the gov requires for their most pure applications. The installation instructions will give you an idea of how to set up the system, and they all work work pretty much the same.
