I have a brand new 70 Gallon tank that finished cycling about two weeks ago. I put three 1in wild true percula clowns in 4 days ago these are the only things in the tank along with 35 kg of live rock. the water tests for amonia nitrite and nitrate are all still reading at 0. my ph is 8.3 and tem is 25C. I decided that the current i had going throuhg the tank was to ftorng as the fish all looked exhausted after the first day so i've turned off my power heads leaving only my aqua one 2200 canister filter running. the smallest of the fish died the next day and now a secon fish is not looking well. it is just sort of resting on the bottom not moving a whole lot except to making gasping motions with its mouth. What can i do for it? what am i doing wrong? the other fish looks really happoy and is swimming calmly around the tank.

Have you tested the water sense you put them in?
And I would turn the power heads back on.
You may not have eh=nough oxygen in your water and so they can not breath.
Test you water daily. You may have added too many fish at one time and spiked your ammo. This will start your cycle over again.

second the not enough oxegen. if everything else seems the same and thats the onlt thing you changed.

wild caught clowns should be quarentined first anyways to make sure your not putting diseases in your main tank.
watch for theyre poop, make sure its not white and stringy.
watch for heavy breathing
anything abnormal. if they get worse after your powerheads are back on, id start setting up a qt..

they most likely have parasites on the gills. I would remove to a QT and treat with maracyn II and copper. the copper will kill the parasites and the maracyn is an anitbiotic/vitamin formula that the fish will absorb through the skin. while they are undergoing treatment I would add an airstone to the water to get the O2 levels as high as possible. this is very common with most WC fish.
