please help me aquascape

I try to move some rocks and couldn't make it a way I like it. Now I can't even put it back to the same way it was..... anyone with pics of there aquascape that I can see... My tank look like sh***T now. thanks

dimension of tank 36L X 18W X 24H (65 gallons)

mostly fiji live rocks with around 5 pieces of tonga..

any ideas will be appreciated. thanks again

Pic a spot and 1 or 2 yrs later you will change again. Keep your SB and stock in mind whene designing. Helps. Fish like caves and overhangs for home. They will each find a spot and it will be there area.
Also for a healthy SB good flow under and around the rockwork is important.Low. Waste and debris will collect in low or no flow areas and over time months or yrs will raise nitrate levels and will be harder to control.
Also if coral will be there then they like high or low of center areas depending on coral so steping the rockwork helps.
Then leaving room in the front for viewing stock is great so they dont collect in the back so pushing rockwork towards the back is good.
Also pic a good center piece , large detailed rock for the center and work around it. I used some pvc pipeing to build a tray and placed in the center with display rock , fish love this area and allows for goos flow.
And last but not least , just have fun with it. This is one of the best parts of reefing.

Here is my recently new setup 58g tank. I think im happy with it, but who knows in a few weeks lol. Aquascaping can be really frustrating.

BTW, theres about 3-4" behind the rocks. Nothing is touching the back wall.

Looks good , but you only have low and medium covered. Any coral that like higher light may like a higher rock. Just trying to help.

s3al the rock work looks great. im not disagreeing with demons because he is right about some corals needing higher lighting, but keep the rock work low... in the ocean fish like to swim above the rock and hang out in the open ocean, so leave a lot of room around the top so they can "hang out" . they mainly go into the rocks for safety so just dont forget to give them space to swim.

went I went mid range rockwork cuz im going SPS across the top.. and i want room for growth all the way up so they can get big. Going with 15k iwasaki's so plenty of PAR.

Yea some sps love high light and may not grow to fast. Besides after awile you will be trimming your coral so its shaped good and dont touch other coral. If you think your going to stop at 1 or 2 coral dont worry but sps is an obsesseon not a hobby GL

trust me this is not the last time you will be moving the rock around. There has been so many times that I have moved my rock around that I can't even count. Last time I moved my rock was last friday at 4am, yes I was drunk as a skunk. And knew I would not touch it the next morning. I don't recomend it, but surprisingly enough it acutally came out just how i wanted it and it was a smoooth re-arrangement. Have fun.

thanks for all the infos guys. I will rearrange my rock work today. let see how it will come out
