Moving on Up
I can't make up my mind....and need help!!!!!

Now that the 300 is gone I want to upgrade my sons 34 gallon Red Sea Max. I want a simple yet nice looking setup. I have it narrowed down "I THINK"...To a Marineland cube. I can't decide between the 150..36x36x27 or the 93 30x30x24.

The price difference between the 93 and 150 is about $600.00. Is it worth that cost for the extra 50 gallons and extra space? I already have a pair of tunze 6100 pumps for the tank, a 300 watt LED fixture is on order...

Like I said I want a nice setup but want to keep it simple. Gonna have a submersible pump this time instead of all the fancy plumbing like I had on the 300. If I go with the 150 it will take me longer to save up for stuff....

THoughts???? Please.....

Hello,

I always think bigger is better! More water volume and less problems. If you have the equipment and can swing it I would go with the bigger tank. I just spent all yesterday setting up my new 50G Marineland Cube.. Good Luck!

Thanks, well it depends how you look at it. Im going from a 34....LOL so a 93 is bigger....

The 600 you will save will actually be a lot higher time it is all up and running. At the end of the day you will enjoy it all the same. Go for the 93. The lfs has one in a custom stand and it looks awesome. Good luck.

Thanks. Scott...

I am leaning more towards the 93. Just hope the used Tunze 6100's I picked up will not be too much flow....

I am sure it would be a quick mover in the used department if you opt to swap it out. I am sure you could add a power head down the road anyways if that one is too strong. Good problem to have.
